Circular to Parents/Guardians:
School Closure:
Please remember school is closed early Thursday at 12.40pm for all pupils a school will be set up for the Referendum and the staff meeting will be held then. School is closed on Friday 2nd.
Harvest Festival Service:
This will take place in St. Andrew’s church on Sunday next (24th October 2009) at 11.30am.
It is customary each year that the children of the school bring gifts of fruit, vegetables, flowers and preserves to decorate two windows in the church for the Harvest Festival. The Sixth Class also present gifts at the service. The following week all the gifts and flowers are brought to St. Mary’s Nursing home where some members of the community are cared for.
SAPA AGM:
SAPA AGM takes place tonight in St. Andrew’s Parish Centre at 8pm.
Golf Classic:
Thank you to SAPA for organising the Golf Classic and meal on Friday last. It was a great success both financially and socially. Thank you to those who sponsored prizes, took part and gave donations. It is much appreciated.
Dogs in the Playground:
I regret to say that it is not possible to allow dogs in the playground in the interest of safety. Thank you.
Football:
Football will take place tomorrow in the Castle, weather permitting. This is from 2nd Class to 6th Class and is from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.
