Swine Flu

What is the school doing about Swine Flu?

Liquid soaps, paper towels and separate bins have been put in place for these.  Hand gel dispensers have been installed all round the school for the benefit of children and visitors to the school.  These have been very kindly sponsored by Jon McGivern.  The paper towel dispensers have been provided by Mr. John Lynch.  Tissues for all the classrooms have been provided by Mr. Jon McGivern.  Anti-Bacterial spray is used on a daily basis to clean the children’s desks. The teachers in the individual classrooms have explained to the children the various procedures within the school.

We have been following the advice of the H.S.E., I.N.T.O., I.P.P.N., D.E.S. and others.  We would like to thank Ms. Burns a parent who works the McCabe’s Pharmacy for the information leaflet which we include with this circular.  It would be advisable for each child to bring a small packet of tissues with them each day, please.
